Hello! I’m Beverley.

Here’s a little bit more about me

What I know about me

I have been a traveler since young adulthood, exploring the world, wonderful careers, and the journey of marriage. I have known loss and grief. Through experience and education, I have gained many skills and learned much about being a
human being on a human journey.

Along the way many amazing people have been my wise guides and companions. My life’s work now as a celebrant is to offer the same companionship to others as they travel through the stages of their journeys.

I now live with my husband at beautiful Opossum Bay, S.E. Tasmania. This is the very place I started much of my journey, and I am so grateful the circle of my life has bought me home.

The Labyrinth – A symbol for journey

The labyrinth has long been a core image for me. Unlike a maze which dead ends, a labyrinth has circular paths that wind in and out till you get to the center of your destination.

Your return to the entrance of the labyrinth takes you back to the same path but is changed by the encounter at the centre. On return from the journey, you have been transformed in some way.

The labyrinth is a great metaphor for the journey of life, and all the little and big journeys within life. I have a heart at the centre of my logo of the labyrinth, as ultimately ‘The Journey’ is all about love and its practice.
